We pride ourselves in bringing the latest styles in wedding dresses to the area and showcasing them in a tranquil, all inclusive and chic environment for you to explore.
We do not follow mainstream bridal stereotypes and are proud to stock cutting edge styles. From soft and willowy silk dresses and separates to structured and timeless show stopper dresses, we have it.
Environmental awareness and ethically produced garments and accessories take priority within our boutique and we work only with responsible designers who share our ethos.

Beautiful selection of modern and classic dresses. Sam was so helpful right from the first communication and she gave honest advice during the appointment, without being pushy. I went in expecting to be overwhelmed and not to be making a decision for ages, but I’ve just gone and bought the perfect dress! Would absolutely recommend, even if I hadn’t found the right dress for me there.

Thanks Sam for your assistance with finding my beautiful dress. You were so accommodating when we called in at short notice. After having some bad experience in other shops I had been dreading the dress search but you made if so painless and gave some great advice. Such a magical experience purchasing my wedding dress from Browns of Totnes. As someone who is not a stereotypical dressy person I was nervous but couldn’t have been made to feel more comfortable and I’m over the moon with my dress!! Thank you Sam and Justine for putting me so at ease and being so lovely. 10/10 recommend! <3

A gorgeous shop filled with beautiful dresses. Sam was my fairy god mother, she guided me through the overwhelming process of finding my wedding dress. Making it feel so relaxed and easy!
Providing the correct underwear to wear whilst trying on dresses is a game changer, all the little touches just made the experience faultless. Thank you x

Sam was absolutely fantastic! Dressing up is really not my thing and I was pretty concerned about finding something I would feel comfortable in for my wedding. Sam created a really relaxed space for me to try on different outfits and find something that suited me. She was great at listening and giving advice where needed. I really enjoyed it and I am very excited now to go for the fitting in a few months!

Had a wonderful experience at Browns of Totnes - after not knowing what to expect for my dress, the selection was lovely, so many beautiful dresses for every style. Sam was amazing and made me feel completely at ease in a little overwhelming, but magical, experience. Sam made my dreams of the perfect dress a reality!
